Countless days, nights and weekends spent doing patient notes - that’s what I really remember about my wife, Dr Aaliya Yaqub, coming back after long shifts at the hospital. It was the only way to look at a patient in the eyes and show care and empathy (rather than typing away on your computer). 

I always thought that there was a better way through technology. Enter Ambience - a fully autonomous scribe and co-pilot that intently listens in the background and deeply understands the clinical context of each patient, produces comprehensive notes, does coding for billing, provides appropriate referrals and an after visit summary for the patient and family. I can’t wait for every clinician to use Ambience’s magical products. 

Our journey with Ambience started at the seed in 2020 and Kleiner Perkins is thrilled to co-lead their Series B with OpenAI.

Exciting news: we’ve raised a $100M Series C, led by Greenoaks, and with participation from Kleiner Perkins, Sequoia Capital, and other existing investors. 

We’re full speed ahead on our mission to accelerate the climate economy. We now work with companies that manage an estimated 479 million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent––more than the annual emissions of France. We’re proud to support them on their work to reinvent their businesses for a zero-carbon world.
