Clients Mr. Ravichandran and Mr. Selvamani had taken two Kotak Life policies in 2018. However, the policies lapsed due to non-payment of their pending dues for more than 6 months. 

Later, when both of them wanted to revive those by paying the pending dues, the underwriting team did not allow for it and wanted a Cardiac Treadmill Test (CTMT) done for them both, along with the payment of the dues. This test was required as the age, premium, and coverage amounts of the clients were high. 

However, both clients were adamant about not undergoing the CTMT tests, citing time constraints. The situation was tricky because the clients were not budging and the underwriting team could not move ahead. A suitable slot for the medical center had to be chalked out as well. 

E Baluprasanth, S Deepak and P Jagannathan from the BRE Team were relentless with their follow-ups with the customers, the underwriting team and the medical centre where the tests had to be conducted. 

Finally, the bottleneck was cleared and the clients agreed to go-ahead with the tests, as per their convenient time schedules and the underwriting team gave a green signal to restart the two policies.
