Wow! The Themed Entertainment Association / AECOM 'Theme Index and Museum Index' reports that SHANGHAI HAICHANG OCEAN PARK hosted well over 4,000,000 visitors in 2023.

With 75,350,969 litres of water (16,574,889 gallons), The CHIMELONG SPACESHIP in Zhuhai, China shattered the record for World's Largest Aquarium. 

In addition, the Aquarium itself is home to several other significant records, including World's Largest Aquarium Tank (56,450,136 / 12,417,288 gallons), World's Largest Living Coral Reef Exhibit (2,848,562 litres / 626,595 gallons), and World's Largest Indoor Artificial Wave (3.2m / 10’6”).

China's SHANGHAI HAICHANG OCEAN PARK is positioned as the market's chief competitor to Shanghai Disneyland. Built for a pricetag of $730,000,000 USD, the 73 acre park draws over 4,000,000 guests each year.

Our friends at Brogent Technologies Inc. built the record-breaking Motion Base of the Bermuda Storm attraction at Chimelong Spaceship in Zhuhai, China. With 304 seats, the attraction claimed the official world records for 'Highest Seated Capacity Motion Simulator' and 'Largest Curved Projection Screen'.

Based on an original concept by the Legacy Entertainment team, this groundbreaking attraction was adapted and brought to life by Rick Rothschild, Kraftwerk Living Technologies, TECHNIFEX, Mack Animation, Yessian Music and Sound Design, Visual Terrain, Inc., and Garner Holt Productions, Inc.

Coming soon to Uzbekistan's capital city of Tashkent, The GRAND SERAI Resort will immerse visitors in an opulent fairy tale kingdom inspired by the richness of the country's culture.

An early proposal for the upcoming Chimelong Qingyuan Forest Resort involved a indoor and outdoor Dark Ride Coaster set around the park's iconic Giraffe Castle.
