A key finding: Nearly 60% of credit cardholders in the U.S. live paycheck to paycheck and revolving on credit cards has increased in 2023 relative to 2022.

This month, we examine U.S. consumers' financial lifestyles and spending choices going into the 2023 holiday shopping season. 

A few key findings: while 77% of consumers plan to participate in the 2023 holiday shopping season, 66% cite access to fewer resources as a reason to spend less overall, and more than 1/3 of consumers plan to use savings to cover the cost.
