We love our local communities! 
In September, 126 of our employees volunteered for a month-long effort to remove waste from local neighborhoods, parks and beaches across the East Coast. With help from community organizations, we were able to collect 1,177 pounds of trash! Shoutout to our partners and employees for making this all possible. Every little action makes a difference!

We’ve teamed up with public schools in the Atlanta area to support their extracurricular programs. Shop at any of the 16 Lidl metro Atlanta stores and you can help earn up to $50,000 for your local high school and make a difference in your community!

Juneteenth represents the date all enslaved African Americans were freed from slavery in the U.S. To celebrate Juneteenth, we are encouraged to educate ourselves on Black history, celebrate Black excellence, and continue to strive toward racial equality.

We are thrilled to share that Lidl participated in the Capital Pride Parade in Washington, DC for the first time this past weekend! Along with 250,000 other spectators and participants, our team members came out to show their support for the LGBTQIA+ community in fashion - waving pride flags and sporting big smiles! The Lidl products that our team passed out were a huge hit with the crowd.

We are excited to share a few highlights from our Store Manager Development Initiative Launch Conference in Arlington, VA last month! Over the action packed two days, Store Managers, District Managers, and Regional and HQ Leaders from across the company connected, networked, and focused on the importance of the Store Manager at Lidl US. 
 
The days were filled with stories and powerful insights from our Store Managers, a panel discussion, a little (a lot of) friendly competition, chants filled with regional pride, awards, prizes, and more. Thank you to all of our teams for joining us, you brought the energy and made this event come to life! We look forward to taking Lidl US to the next level, together!
