Today we celebrate our latest ‘The Linfox Leader’ program graduates!  
 
The program supports leaders from across the business to become more considerate and deliberate in their approach to leadership.

Linfox is helping to sustainably energise Western Australia, delivering liquid natural gas (LNG) together with our partners Woodside Energy and EDL. 
 
As the 1000th trailer of LNG was recently loaded at Woodside’s Pluto LNG facility, Linfox continues to invest in new prime movers to continue this important work in the remote Pilbara.

Transport and logistics are essential to our economy and way of life, but they rely heavily on road freight. 
 
Yesterday Linfox ANZ CEO, Mark Mazurek joined Minister for Ports and Freight, Hon Melissa Horne, the Victorian Department of Transport and Planning, and fellow freight, logistics and ports stakeholders at the department’s Freight Industry Decarbonisation Summit. 
 
The summit united government, industry and operators for meaningful discussions about the net zero emissions roadmap, possible pathways to decarbonisation and the challenges we need to overcome on the way.
 
Linfox welcomes yesterday’s Victorian government commitment to a zero-emission freight transport roadmap, with its low/zero emission heavy vehicle (LZEHV) access map set to broaden the LZEHV road network.  
 
Participating in the industry panel session, Mark explained Linfox’s own commitment to freight decarbonisation, showcasing the Woolworths Volvo FL Electric, delivering in metro Melbourne since 2021. This vehicle is part of our ‘first fleet’ of electric trucks and our broader commitment with customers to decarbonise freight operations. Linfox is well into our sustainability journey. We made this pledge in 2007 and continue to invest in LZEHV fleet, creating sustainable warehouses in key locations, and moving more freight to rail.

This week, BevChain’s impressive new 35,000 square-metre beverages DC in Maddington, WA was officially opened by Misha Shliapnikoff, President BevChain.  
 
This continues Linfox and BevChain’s important work building a sustainable national logistics network in key locations, supported by quality buildings and modern fleet.  
 
“Our new DC provides much needed additional ambient and temperature-controlled capacity, and positions BevChain for future growth in the west, conveniently near our customers, transportation hubs and routes,” said Misha.  
 
The safe, sustainable facility houses many well-known beverage brands across beer, wine, spirits and non-alcoholic drink categories - and opens in time to quench WA’s thirst ahead of summer.  
 
Well done to the project and site teams who worked tirelessly to bring this exciting new facility to life!

Linfox hosted the 3rd Human Organisational Performance (HOP) Community of Practice forum last week involving safety leaders from BHP, Shell, BlueScope, Fortescue, Australia Post, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, Adbri Limited, HF Integration Pty Ltd, Elevate Safety and Fletcher Building.
The session focussed on real examples of doing safety differently and the positive impact that this can have on people, culture and everyday work. Thanks to everyone for a fantastic day!
Global Safety Innovation Summit 2024

The 2023 long service celebrations kicked off at Hyatt Place in Melbourne last weekend, hosted by Peter Fox AM, Executive Chairman. These events show our appreciation to our loyal people who dedicate so much of themselves to our businesses, customers and communities. 

We look forward to celebrating with our teams and their partners right across Australia and New Zealand in the coming weeks!

Last week our 2022 and 2023 Linfox Australia and New Zealand graduate program participants enjoyed three days developing their skills to help them thrive in their careers at our Melbourne Head Office.

Backed by the Linfox commitment to develop and retain the best people, our graduates were joined by senior leaders to hear first-hand about building positive customer relationships, developing smarter transport and warehousing solutions, and the importance of creating strong networks. 

The Linfox Graduate Program provides participants a world-class grounding in logistics, gained through experience across diverse business areas over the two-year program.
