💥Proud Project Highlight!💥This summer, Anne Fechner and I led the launch of the Mama Online Shop at Löwenzahn Organics as part of our ongoing mission to put mothers’ health in the spotlight! Mothers' health is women’s health, yet it’s still often treated as a niche issue in society. To challenge this, we created a curated shop that brings together handpicked products from strong, trusted brands, all designed to support moms in the best possible way. Anne, with her expertise in product and nutritional science, and I, with my background in brands & marketing, are particularly proud of the thoughtful selection we made. In a world full of overwhelming options and promises, our goal was to cut through the noise and offer meaningful support to moms on their journey. Although the shop launched in June, this project is far from over—we’re continuously working to expand and refine it, ensuring that mothers have access to the best possible resources for their health and well-being. I’m very proud and glad that I got the opportunity to lead this ongoing initiative within Löwenzahn Organics, where we aim to not only serve but also uplift mothers by making their health a priority.💜

Here’s a quick Behind-the-Scenes for you: 𝐅𝐃𝐀 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐥: We've successfully obtained the necessary FDA approval, which is a significant step forward in ensuring that our product meets all the regulatory requirements for the South Korean market. 𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐢𝐧𝐬: The produced tins have arrived at our office, ready and tested in our labs! This was a crucial step, ensuring that just like all our infant formula batches, our South Korean batches meet our high quality standards. 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐞: We're on schedule for our September launch! The team has been working diligently to ensure that everything is aligned for a smooth introduction of our product to the South Korean market. 🌟 We are proud to have partnered with Little by Little Studio in Munich for their Pregnancy Day Retreat 🌸 The event was a wonderful opportunity for mothers-to-be to connect with health care professionals dedicated to maternal health and well-being. At Löwenzahn Organics, we're committed to supporting midwives and doulas in their vital work. Our Bio Bone Broth for Postpartum, our Energy Balls for Breastfeeding Moms, and our nutritional guides for the postpartum were thoughtfully included in the goodie bags to enhance the postpartum experience for these soon-to-be moms. Together with midwives, doulas and other health care professionals, we share a common goal: Making maternal health a priority. The retreat, featuring pregnancy pilates, yoga, soundbaths, a women’s circle and more, provided a nurturing space for expecting mothers to relax and recharge. This article underscores the urgent need of comprehensive strategies for better nutrition— something we are deeply committed to. As highlighted in the article, proper nutrition during this period forms the foundation for cognitive growth, influencing everything from IQ to future productivity. Despite progress, malnutrition remains a significant global challenge. Shockingly, half of the world's children and two-thirds of women of reproductive age are still deficient in vital micronutrients like iron, essential for cognitive development. The statistics are stark: a malnourished brain forms fewer synapses, leading to irreversible damage. Yet, simple interventions like better maternal diets and targeted food supplements can produce incredible benefits. For instance, reducing stunting and anaemia could transform millions of lives, boost global GDP and reduce poverty. Absolutely thrilled about the launch of our Löwenzahn Organics GmbH mama online shop in collaboration with some incredible #femalefounders ! Spending time with these inspiring women reminded me of the unique challenges we face in a predominantly male #startup ecosystem: Funding continues to be a significant hurdle, with female founders in Germany receiving nine times less funding than our male counterparts. The notion that mom’s health and wellbeing is a "niche" market is simply absurd – with 20 million #mothers in Germany, maternal health should be at the forefront. Founding a company as a mother is also uniquely challenging. I've been asked if I should reconsider my career ambitions because I have young children – a question men rarely face. But these challenges only make us stronger and more determined. Here are a few things that have helped me and the incredible women I’ve met: 1. A Mission-driven focus: Staying true to our passion, especially when it's something we live and breathe daily. 2. Supportive partnerships: Surrounding ourselves with like-minded partners and brands that share our mission and values. 3. Flexibility: Creating a work model that balances career ambitions with family responsibilities. Having a supportive partner or flexible childcare solutions are a privilege, but as a founder a flexible, supportive work model is absolutely something you can implement and take a lead on. Thank you to my amazing partners in mission – together, we’re proving that women can lead and thrive in any industry.
