Parfums Christian Dior unveils Miss Dior 2024 by Francis Kurkdjian, his new fragrance for Miss Dior perfume.  

Francis Kurkdjian, has created the Parfum version of Miss Dior to be an immediate, imperative pleasure. Floral and gourmand notes soar, before settling like a morsel of fruit on the tongue, enveloped in sensual flowers, and leaving a rich memory of an amber, woody scent. 

Miss Dior is an icon that needs to be viewed through the full extent of its history. Francis Kurkdjian has made it his own, giving it the accents of today’s young generation, which is never quite the same, yet not entirely different. In this quest to reinvent the past, jasmine revealed itself to be the starting point.

For the eleventh annual LVMH “Dîner des Maisons Engagées” fundraising event last December, LVMH commissioned an original work by artist Liu Bolin. 

The photograph is now being auctioned to benefit Hôpital Robert–Debré, adding to financial support from the LVMH Group to help fight sickle cell anemia. 

Entitled The Tree of Life, the work stages the artist – known for making himself ‘invisible’ by blending into his photographs – alongside a young patient at the hospital against the backdrop of a collage made from a dozen drawings by children receiving care from Robert Debré children’s hospital.

Louis Vuitton awarded the Louis Vuitton Watch Prize for Independent Creatives to Raúl Pagès with his creation RP1 - Régulateur à détente, during a ceremony held at the Fondation Louis Vuitton.
 
Initiated by Jean Arnault, this biennial prize aims to reward innovation and know-how in independent watchmaking. For this first edition, nearly 1,000 entries were evaluated by a committee of experts according to five criteria.
 
The jury, led by Jury President Michael Tay, among other experts, selected Raúl Pagès as the winner, receiving a unique silver trophy and a financial endowment as well as a year's personalized mentoring by La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton.

LVMH announces the list of the 20 candidates shortlisted for the semi-final of the 2024 LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers.
 
The 20 semi-finalists will present their collections at the semi-final, that will take place in Paris on 29th February and 1st March 2024. Once again this year, the LVMH Prize will be held digitally on the dedicated website lvmhprize.com and will involve the general public. From 29th February to 5th March, the public will be able to discover the designers and vote for their eight favourite candidates, just like the Experts.
 
As every year, on the occasion of the semi-final, the LVMH Prize Committee of Experts, made up of over 85 international fashion specialists, will choose the eight finalists.

“This first ever Olympic medal created by a jeweler is emblematic of LVMH’s role as creative partner of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024. In a close creative dialogue between Paris 2024 and Chaumet, the artisans of the Maison delved into their archives and explored powerful symbols of Olympism to imagine a medal inspired by high jewelry creations. Adding to its rich, centuries-old history, Chaumet is writing a new page that will remain engraved in the heritage of the Maison for eternity.” – Antoine Arnault, LVMH Image & Environment 

Conceived by the Chaumet design studio, these medals express the shared vocation of LVMH and the renowned Paris jeweler: The Art of Crafting Dreams. 
In close collaboration with the Paris 2024 Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, headed by Tony Estanguet, Chaumet creative teams propose a side specific to the Paris Games that pays tribute to France and the City of Light while echoing the creative codes of the Maison.
