At Lyndra, our team is eager to bring long-acting oral therapies to people who need them. Today, we announced positive data from our pivotal phase 3 study of oral weekly risperidone (LYN-005) for schizophrenia. As our Chief Medical Officer and President of Global Product Development, Richard Scranton MD MPH shared, “These positive data demonstrate that a single dose of oral weekly risperidone delivers comparable medication levels to daily risperidone, validating that Lyndra’s LYNX® drug delivery platform may provide a medication option that significantly reduces dosing frequency. For people who rely on risperidone as part of their treatment regimen, oral weekly risperidone could vastly improve medication adherence and outcomes.”

This is a major step forward towards our goal of bringing long-acting oral medicines based on the LYNX drug delivery platform to the people who need them most and transforming how we take medicines. 

At Lyndra, we are passionate about building a healthier world through long-acting oral therapies. Today, we announced the close of a $101 Million Series E funding round to support that mission, led by Sarissa Capital Management LP and including SUN PHARMA and Polaris Partners These funds will support the development of therapies with our LYNX® drug delivery platform, including oral weekly risperidone (LYN-005), which is nearing completion of phase 3 clinical study.
