MAJ Invest is a financial services company that offers a range of asset management solutions, including investment funds, discretionary management, and advisory services for private and institutional clients. The company focuses on creating value through active portfolio management and a long-term investment perspective.

Maj Invest is a Copenhagen-based asset management company. Founded in 2005 as an independent company, Maj Invest is today owned by management and employees.

Maj Invest has two main business areas, Asset Management and Private Equity, besides the business area Maj Bank.

In Asset Management we provide advice on strategic asset allocation and asset management of securities listed on regulated markets for institutional clients and the mutual funds Investeringsforeningen Maj Invest in Denmark and Maj Invest Funds in Luxembourg. We also offer wealth management services to wealthy individuals, companies and funds.

In Private Equity we advise private equity funds on their investments in unlisted equities in Denmark as well as abroad. In Denmark we advise five private equity funds and provide discretionary investment advisory services to clients on private equity portfolios. In the international part of our private equity business we advise four private equity funds on their investments.

Having access to basic financial services significantly improves people’s livelihood. This is the conclusion in a recent social outcome assessment that Maj Invest Financial Inclusion carried out in cooperation with Microfinanza Rating and the portfolio companies of the three funds investing in the financial inclusion sector.

Examples of the many good results are that 55% increased their household and business income, 62% increased their ability to pay for education for their children, and 60% increased their ability to pay for medical care.
