Meet Maryse Glaude-Beaulieu. From an early age, she was a pioneer in inclusion and has been continuing to make an impact ever since. She uses that experience in her career in French and braille transcription, working with blind students, accessibility testing, and more. 

With decades of assistive technology and dynamic lived experience, Maryse brings a lot to the tester community at Fable. In this article, we share her journey and how her lived experience has fuelled her work at Fable.

Mobile device usage is at an all-time high, but we hear from designers and developers that they are uncertain how to make native mobile apps accessible to people with disabilities. While there is guidance in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) on mobile accessibility, and guidance from Apple and Google on making iOS and Android apps accessible, dense guidelines can be overwhelming for someone new to mobile accessibility. 

Fable recently surveyed our community of assistive technology users to get a better understanding of the accessibility barriers encountered on mobile devices and the extent accessibility influences purchases.
