MDBBA is an organization focused on supporting and elevating Black entrepreneurs in Wayne, Macomb, and Oakland counties in Southeast Michigan. Their mission is to create policies and programming that drive Black-owned businesses in the region, with a focus on closing the wealth gap. They provide resources such as a Black Business Directory, a Business Resource Center, and a program called Capital Connect, which helps connect Black-owned businesses to grants, loans, and other funding opportunities for growth and sustainability.

Our mission is to develop programs and advocate for policies that result in profitable and sustainable Black-Owned businesses that are connected to public and private economic opportunities while building trusted relationships.

This 12-week cohort programs teaches Black entrepreneurs about business planning, financial forecasting and much more! Applications for our next cohorts close on December 31, 2023.
