In partnership with Superior HealthPlan, MedArrive has served thousands of their Medicaid and Dual members in Texas and we are just getting started. This month, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a final rule that announced policy changes for #Medicare, including significant payment updates to the 2024 Physician Fee Schedule.  

Of note, CMS added codes to the Physician Fee Schedule to pay for Community Health Integration (CHI) and Social Determinants of Health (#SDOH) Risk Assessments and an additional code for evaluation and management in longitudinal care.

Excited to announce our latest MedArrive ecosystem partner, Heartbeat Health!  It's been great working with Jeffrey Wessler and Thomas Mackintire to bring a new way to serve some of MedArrive's most vulnerable patients.

Today, we announce our partnership with the virtual cardiology care platform Heartbeat Health. This will allow our patients, including Medicaid beneficiaries, to access 24/7 cardiology services from their homes. 

Collectively, the U.S. spends more than $320 billion—or 15% of the total health expenditure—treating or managing CVD. More than 1 in 4 Medicaid beneficiaries have some form of CVD, rates that are often much higher than in other populations, according to Kaiser Permanente data. People on Medicaid also have high rates of the common risk factors contributing to CVD, including hypertension and high cholesterol. 

This will further enable us to meet our mission of improving people's lives by bringing more humanity to healthcare!
