Meridiam was founded in 2005 by Thierry Déau, with the belief that the alignment of interests between the public and private sector can provide critical solutions to the collective needs of communities. Meridiam is an independent investment Benefit Corporation and an asset manager. The firm specializes in the development, financing, and long-term management of sustainable public infrastructure in three core sectors: sustainable mobility, critical public services and innovative low carbon solutions. With offices in Addis Ababa, Amman, Dakar, Istanbul, Luxembourg, Paris, Vienna, Libreville, Johannesburg and Washington, Meridiam currently manages over US$20 billion and more than 120 projects to date. Meridiam is certified ISO 9001: 2015, Advanced Sustainability Rating by VigeoEiris (Moody’s) and applies a proprietary methodology in relation to ESG and impact based on United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

We are very happy to welcome Marie Lam - Frendo as #Meridiam's Chief Strategy Officer and Excom Member.
 
Marie joins Meridiam from the Global Infrastructure Hub, where in her previous role as a CEO, she directly advised for Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors on #publicpolicies and program #development to boost #infrastructureinvestment in #emergingeconomies. 
 
In her current role, Marie will use her extensive expertise spanning across the development, financing, and public policy for infrastructure projects to further develop Meridiam's #longterm #strategy and contribute to our long-term ambition.
