Make-A-Wish has announced the 2023 winners of the Chris Greicius Celebrity Award, given each year to some of the celebrities, entertainers, athletes, influencers, and industry partners who have played a significant and impactful role in furthering the Make-A-Wish mission.

Each winner is honoured for their ongoing commitment to delivering hope to children with critical illnesses and their families when they need it most.

Product Development Associate 

🚀 What excites you the most about your job?
What truly excites me is the prospect of engaging with exciting projects and collaborating with a dynamic team. The idea of transforming innovative ideas into products our audiences are able to enjoy is what I love. Seeing products that I either designed or developed on shelves in stores puts a smile on my face. 😃

🚀 What are you most proud of/your biggest accomplishment whilst at Moonbug?
This would have to be leading the product development and working on the Blippi x Liverpool FC collaboration last year! ⚽

🚀 If you could have one superpower what would it be and why? 
Elemental manipulation, something like Aang from Avatar. 
With the power to control all elements, the possibilities would be endless! From flying to whichever country I feel like to clicking my fingers to start a flame 🔥 under the BBQ in the summer, I’d be unstoppable. 

🚀 Finish this statement: In the next 3-5 years I see myself…
In the next 3-5 years…I hope to still be creating exciting products for fans of our shows to enjoy! Continuing to improve my design skills is key to this, so I will definitely be a better designer in the future.

Meet the Maker: Hannah Kole
Senior Development Executive 

🚀 What do you do at Moonbug?
I head up the development department at Moonbug and sit across development of new content across all of our amazing brands! 🌟

🚀 What excites you the most about your job?
How can I pick just one?! Being able to be at the forefront of content really excites me. This allows you to have a huge impact on character and world building, which are two of my favourite things! It’s a huge responsibility, but being able to work across all of our IPs means my job is never boring - if I feel stuck on one IP, there’s another awesome project to jump to in order to get the creative juices flowing again. Another favourite thing is working with beautifully talented artists and writers who bring even more love, passion and quality into our projects. ❤️ 

🚀 Favourite place to travel and a story to share?
I really love a good old fashioned tent camping trip ⛺, as I love being outdoors and enjoy the bare necessities. I recently got the privilege to go to Yosemite and was in complete awe of the massive waterfalls. One time when I was camping we were joined by some curious bears 🐻, which was a bit scary, but I made it back to tell the tale!

🚀 What is your career background?
I’ve always been passionate about children’s entertainment. Before Moonbug, I worked at a smaller production company focused on children’s entertainment, where I worked my way up from Intern to Assistant to Writer to Creative Executive! I found I really loved the development piece of the process.
