Deposits are possibly the largest liquid holdings in BFSI (hovering around $1.5 trillion or ~100 trillion Indian Rupees) in India. While this is significant, if we ask the question - how many startups have built innovations or fintech solutions around it? the count is just a few. Furthermore, when we question who has built clear technology or a moat to solve this, there are mere few to count on fingers & Upswing Financial Technologies is possibly one on the list.

When we met the team in late 2021 to early 2022, we immediately liked the business, the opportunity they were pursuing, and, most importantly, how the founders aimed to solve it. This is one of our inception stage commitments, and today marks another day to feel great seeing the progress of the team joining hands with Quona Capital as a new partner in the investor family.

Higher disposable income combined with greater financial awareness is driving adoption of investment options offering more attractive risk-reward propositions to enable faster wealth creation.
