Our mission is to supply you with solar thermal and solar PVT evacuated tube collectors; decarbonising demand for heat and power globally, one rooftop, façade, or ground-mounted array at a time.

We drive innovation in the solar thermal and solar PVT sector, integrating our highly efficient technology with monitoring capabilities. Our unique evacuated tube design optimises thermal and electrical outputs in two simple collectors: VirtuHOT (thermal) and VirtuPVT (photovoltaic, thermal). 

VirtuHOT and VirtuPVT can provide off-grid solutions, addressing high hot water and electricity demand for hotels, residential developments/ apartments, leisure centres, F&B manufacturing, and hospitals.

Last week we had the honour to host our strategic partner E.ON Energy Infrastructure Solutions teams from the UK and Romania as well as colleagues from Germany for a series of talks and workshops in our London office.

The goal was to familiarise them with our Virtu product range and Clarity software suite, and showcase based on various installations how solar thermal technology supports heat decarbonisation, significantly reduces carbon emission and provides significant financial benefits to customers.

Thanks to everyone who attended, in person or online and especially to Stefan Padberg for making the journey all the way from California, and many thanks to Daniel Joisten for helping to organise it all.

This partnership is off to a very good start.

The general election is in full swing and both leading parties are positioning themselves to gain the countries trust and votes. Without a doubt, emotions will run high over the next few weeks, and net zero and energy security will become frontrunner topics.

We will hear a lot about future policies, pros, and cons with a lot of back and forth between the main protagonists.

Whoever wins the next election will be well advised in supporting those UK businesses which are driving the energy transition, create local green jobs, and domestic energy security. Our friends in the United States and the European Union have clearly heard this message from their industries and have put relevant policies in place.

The key is to understand that net zero is not a problem to avoid but an opportunity to embrace and the fundamental piece to achieving domestic energy security in the UK.

According to Net Zero Insights (my favourite climatetech researchers, Andrea, Federico and Emet 💚 ), the Energy segment is the largest in the climate funding ecosystem, accounting for around 40-50%. This is unsurprising, given that energy-related emissions comprise 70+% of all global emissions (see references in the comments).

The quality of solutions submitted for the Energy categories of the #InnovationZero Awards was incredibly high, making the competition super tough! Remember the names of the finalists — I'm sure you'll encounter them again and again.
