We are thrilled to announce that Nano-Ditech, has achieved 510(k) FDA clearance and CLIA-Waiver certification for the Nano-Check™ RSV Test, a groundbreaking diagnostic product for Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) infection. The Nano-Check™ RSV Test is a rapid diagnostic tool designed for patients exhibiting RSV symptoms such as coughing, sneezing, and a runny nose. This test allows for the collection of a nasal sample and delivers visual confirmation of infection within just 15 minutes. Its CLIA-Waiver certification means it can be conveniently used in pharmacies and non-specialized laboratories. One of the notable advantages of the Nano-Check™ RSV Test is its applicability to adults aged 60 years and older, a demographic significantly impacted by RSV. With local clinical trials conducted in the U.S., we aim to address the alarming statistics of 60,000 to 160,000 hospitalizations and 6,000 to 10,000 deaths annually among adults aged 65 and older due to RSV. This accomplishment follows the FDA 510(k) clearance of the Nano-Check™ COVID-19 Antigen Test in January and the additional CLIA-Waiver clearance secured in June.
