How long have you been working with NASCENT?  Since April 2023

Favorite memory at NASCENT?
One of my favorite memories at Nascent was our annual holiday party last year. It’s a time when we all came together, enjoyed good food, and had a lot of fun.

What does a typical day look like for you? 
My typical workday begins with me checking and responding to emails. After that, I meet with my team to discuss our daily priorities. Throughout the day, I monitor accounts, create invoices for customers, ensure payments and cash receipts are accurately recorded, and assist with ongoing departmental projects.

Favorite part of the job?
One aspect of my job that I truly appreciate is the flexibility provided by Nascent. It allows me to balance work and personal life effectively, contributing to my overall job satisfaction.

What is one piece of advice you would give to someone looking for a job at NASCENT?
One piece of advice I would give for anyone looking for a job at Nascent would be to remain open to process improvement. Demonstrating a willingness to adapt, learn, and optimize workflows can make you a very valuable candidate.

I have been at Nascent a little over 2 years now.

Favorite memory at NASCENT?
Some of the fun times outside of our normal work that you can have working with good people.

What does a typical day look like for you?
Usually I start off by catching myself up on where I left off the day before and making sure my time estimates are up to date before our Agile Stand Up meeting. And then it's off to whatever I'm working on whether it's coding, researching an issue, getting something setup, or occasionally something else. There is enough variety of things going on at Nascent that the typical day is not the same old thing day after day.

Favorite part of the job?
Resolving issues and accomplishing something through code that many people can benefit from - why I got into development.

What is one piece of advice you would give to someone looking for a job at NASCENT?
I would say to embrace the excitement - and challenge - of doing something different than what you may have done before.
