We are embarking on one of the most ambitious and possibly the GREATEST upcycled beauty ingredient initiatives in Australian history. This is a game-changer. And something close to my heart as an innovator, who relishes the challenge to do things differently, and better, so that our clients, the industry, and ultimately the end customer have the very best product at their fingertips. A BIG win for Australia's war on food waste is coming...and we can't keep it a secret for much longer! What's our CEO and innovator, and eco-conscious ingredient champion, been up to recently? Lisa Carroll is working on an exciting project that will be Australia's most ambitious, commercial-scale upcycled beauty and wellness ingredient commercialisation from high-value food waste sources. The scale can't be captured in the photos - and it marks a new era for Australian growers addressing their waste, product portfolio expansion, practising circularity and entering new markets with responsible and measurable high-value ingredients. We are proud to partner with the largest grower of this botanical in the Southern Hemisphere, converting 15,000 tonnes a year of nutrient-rich waste into ingredients packed with natural compounds targeted for the Cosmetic and Nutraceutical sectors.
