NeoPhore Ltd is delighted to announce a further extension of £9.6m (approx. USD $12.2m) to its Series B financing round. 
 
With participation from its existing syndicate, CPF managed by Sixth Element Capital, Claris Ventures, Astellas Venture Management, 3B Future Health Fund, 2investAG, and the addition of three new investors – NEVA SGR (the venture capital arm of Intesa Sanpaolo banking group), LIFTT (the venture capital focused on deep-tech chaired by Stefano Buono) and Simon Fiduciaria (the fiduciary company of Ersel Group). This extension brings the total raised in Series B financing to £31.1m (approx. USD $39.5m).

NeoPhore’s CEO, Matthew Baker, Ph.D, CSO, Martin Drysdale, and EVP Drug Discovery, Julian Blagg, will be attending AACR-NCI-EORTC Molecular Targets and Cancer Therapeutics Conference in Boston, USA on 11 - 15 October. This conference attracts scientists from across the globe to discuss innovations in drug development, target selection, the impact of new discoveries in cellular and molecular biology, and early clinical trials. 

On Saturday October 14th, NeoPhore will present a first disclosure of NP1867, a potent, selective, covalent small molecule inhibitor of DNA Mismatch Repair (MMR) protein PMS2. We will show, for the first time, that NP1867 functionally inhibits MMR in cells and elicits COSMIC mutational signatures consistent with MMR-deficient patient samples. The poster presentation will be during Session C (C086), 12:30 pm-4:00 pm Level 2, Exhibit Hall D.
