🚀 #TechTuesday 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡 On Monday 14 October 2024, the NASA space probe Europa Clipper was launched, beginning a 5.5 year and 2.9 billion kilometer journey to Jupiter's smallest moon: Europa. Europa contains an enormous, ice-covered ocean that may well have the conditions necessary to support life. Europa Clipper is on its way to explore that potential. Neways is proud of the small but essential role we play in powering the spacecraft. We supply highly specialized thermal knives that heat to over 1,000 degrees Celsius to cut Kevlar cables, enabling the large solar arrays to unfold.
