At the recent "Green Transition Forum 4.0, Pavel Lisev, executive director of the Fund Manager of Financial Instruments in Bulgaria, highlighted the Fund of Funds' vital role in driving industrial and digital transformation. 

➡️With over 3,500 projects supported, including 320 startups primarily in IT, the Fund is paving the way for innovation in deep tech areas like AI, cybersecurity, digital twins and more. 

➡️FMFIB provides support to project proposals from various economic verticals including digitization, circular economy, urban development, and social entrepreneurship.

➡️Having invested around BGN 30 million in AI companies, the Fund focuses on early-stage firms seeking to refine their business models. As they transition to the next Multiannual Financial Framework, over EUR 320 million will be allocated to risk capital instruments aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises.
