Originally published in the Official Journal of the Asian Pacific Society of Respirology, the study found that Galaxy achieved 100% successful navigation to small lesions in the lung periphery, diagnostic yield up to 94.7% (intermediate) and 100% tool-in-lesion accuracy. Importantly, this study is also noteworthy because it demonstrates that the use of Galaxy can be rapidly scaled to improve lung cancer detection rates even in places where physicians have limited experience with robotic systems.
