Northern Michigan Angels is an angel investment organization of local volunteer members focused on private sector investment and economic development. The group's primary interest is in providing investment capital and expertise to scalable entrepreneurial companies whose potential success will have an impact on economic growth and the quality of life in Michigan, especially in Northwestern Lower Michigan. We welcome the participation of like-minded individuals and organizations in this pursuit.

Spread the word that Michigan's Growth Office is hosting a "shark tank-style" pitch competition this fall.  They're looking for innovative solutions that can transform the way people get from point A to point B safely, affordably and efficiently (trails, gravel roads, and waterways included!!!)

Submit your ideas for a chance to compete at PitchMI, a statewide shark tank-style pitch competition.

Michigan's Growth Office will invest $100,000 in one innovative solution. 

The PitchMI competition is scheduled for Thursday, October 24 at 2:30 p.m. and is open to pre-seed, seed, Series A, and Series B companies with 51% of their employees residing in the State of Michigan. Applicants must be able to participate in-person and solutions should be demonstration ready with working prototypes. 

The deadline to apply is Monday, September 16 at 11:59 p.m. ET
