NOVOBIOM provides innovative solutions for the ecological clean-up of heavily polluted natural resources. Relying on an innovative biotechnology platform and rupturing from the usual industrial practices, we enlarge the scope of existing techniques with a novel biological solution (Mycoremediation) for the treatment of contaminated waste. Currently focusing on tackling soil contamination, we introduce within the industry an efficient and competitive new way to managing and rehabilitating heavily contaminated industrial waste.

As future generations deserve to thrive on a clean planet with healthy soils, our mission is to solve current environmental and societal challenges by developing bio-inspired restorative innovations.

📣 Our project #INNO4CFIs promoting #innovation for #carbonfarming is kick-starting! 

🧑‍💼 The consortium of 14 expert partners led by Fondazione E. Amaldi spanning 8 European countries gathered for the project start in #Rome, Italy in September. 

#INNO4CFIs, co-funded by the #EuropeanRegionalDevelopmentFund #I3instrument, is redefining #carbonfarming and #greentechnologies. 

With a focus on carbon farming initiatives and #reforestation, the aim is to increase #CO2 uptake while nurturing vital #environmental benefits like freshwater production, soil restoration, and biodiversity enhancement. 📈

Throughout the next 3 years, this ambitious project will develop a #CarbonFarmingTechnology platform for innovative nature-based solutions that support carbon removal practices and enhance #climateadaptation. 🌍
