On the morning of October 14, 2024, Mr. Aparo, Massimo , Deputy Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) , visited the headquarters of Nuctech at the invitation of the State Nuclear Security Technology Center. He received a warm welcome from Nuctech’s reception team for this visit, led by Chief Engineer Zhang Li. Recently, Nuctech Kazakhstan hosted a significant regional civil aviation forum in Almaty, focusing on “Aviation Security in the Modern Era”. The forum was a melting pot of ideas, attracting more than 90 guests from Central Asia and the Transcaucasia regions. The diverse group included representatives of major airports, senior industrial experts, regulatory authorities, and senior representatives of airlines. This rich mix of perspectives led to a lively discussion on some trending subjects, such as the core products of intelligent inspection, civil aviation security policy, and smart transformation of airports. Afterwards, the participants visited Almaty International Airport to look at Nuctech's intelligent security inspection systems, including two online CT systems, two FlexOne systems, eight CX6040D, and four sets of AX5000. After an on-site product demonstration, they expressed strong interest in Nuctech's equipment and had more in-depth technical exchanges with the engineers. #CivilAviation #forum

On October 3, IEC 63391:2024 - Active millimetre-wave systems for security screening of humans - General requirements was officially released for implementation. This international standard initiative is led by Nuctech and supported by the United States, Russia, Germany, and Ukraine. In late August, Nuctech TR3000DE high-throughput trace detector officially made its way onto the list of security equipment approved by the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC), reaching the Explosive Trace Detection (ETD) standard of ECAC. The evaluation process this time included equipment application in passenger inspection and cargo inspection, as well as manual inspection and sampler configurations. TR3000DE explosive express trace detector is a featured product independently developed by Nuctech for instant detection in complicated environments. Based on ion mobility spectrometry as well as multiple-inlet design for rotating detection, the system minimizes recovery time for cleaning and is capable of inspecting more passengers and baggage in a short period of time, constituting an essential part of the differentiated security inspection in civil aviation airports. #TraceDetector #ECAC #TR3000DE
