The North Star Construction and Odin (NSOD) Joint Venture is making steady progress on the Marysville Ring Levee Phase 2B project! We're thrilled to announce the successful completion of the Dry Creek Ecosystem Restoration Phase II Project! Odin partnered with ROD Construction, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and Sonoma Water to restore streams, floodplain, and riparian habitat along Dry Creek near Healdsburg, CA. Our team implemented a range of ecological measures—like riffles, large woody structures, and backwater pools—to improve habitat complexity and hydrologic connectivity. We also enhanced riparian habitats through invasive species removal and native replanting efforts. It’s been a rewarding project, especially working closely with local farmers and overcoming environmental challenges to help restore this vital ecosystem.
