It's World Water Day! Today highlights the importance of fresh water and how to nurture it. We rely on quality water to generate affordable electricity and we're able to return 99% of that water back to its source. Our conservation measures ensure a beneficial water supply for future generations.

We also host free fishing clinics at Sooner, Horseshoe Lake, Seminole and River Valley power plants to engage the community in aquatic ecosystems and teach sustainable ways to enjoy our local water system. These lakes are open to the public for recreation, too!

Science Live! presented by OG&E is Science Museum Oklahoma's newest attraction!

With a completely renovated theater, it is now bigger, louder and more fun - and ready for kids of all ages to get curious about science. Our own Sean Trauschke unveiled the new set up by taking part in some experiments!

Alba Weaver, Senior Manager of Local & Community Affairs for OG&E, shared her journey as the first Hispanic woman to lead our Community Affairs team at the Oklahoma City Thunder's Women in Business Summit. She advised attendees to seek mentors, be open to criticism, and give themselves grace. We appreciate Alba’s servant leadership and commitment to energizing the community.
