This week, our Senior Vice President Michele Lawrence Jawando joined hundreds of students from across the country at #HouseOfCode in celebration of the winners of the 2023 Congressional App Challenge 🎉

At Omidyar Network, we believe digital technology can and should have a positive impact on society. That's why we've supported the Congressional App Challenge since 2020 to encourage students not only to explore computer science innovations, but also to connect with policymakers and help find solutions to problems locally, nationally, and globally.

💬 "Technology can be a force for good and can unlock amazing potential. And we know that the people who participated in this challenge will be the ones who can help bring our technology systems into better balance," said Michele during her keynote speech.
