OPmobility engages in the manufacture and sale of exterior vehicle lighting systems, batteries, and electrification systems for electric mobility in Europe, North America, China, rest of Asia, South America, the Middle East, and Africa. The company operates through three segments: Exterior Systems, Modules, and Powertrain. Its Exterior Systems segment provides intelligent exterior systems; and automotive lighting systems, headlights, and signal lighting to intelligent, and other lighting products. The company's Powertrain segment offers clean energy systems comprising energy storage and emission reduction systems for various types of gasoline, diesel, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid powertrains; designs and manufactures battery systems, electronics, and power electronics components for electric mobility of trucks, buses, trains, and construction machineries. This segment also designs and manufactures hydrogen solutions, including high-pressure fuel tanks, fuel cell stacks, and integrated systems. Its Modules segment engages in the design, development, and assemble of modules (HBPO). In addition, the company provides intelligent exterior systems, including bumpers, tailgates and spoilers, and body panels; onboard energy storage and emission reduction systems comprising selective catalytic reduction and fuel systems, and filling pipes. Further, it offers modules and personalization products, which include front-end module, active grille shutter, active rollo, and interior and charge lid modules; and lighting solutions, including interior, body shell, and front and signal lighting, as well as projection system and lighting electronics. The company was formerly known as Compagnie Plastic Omnium SE and changed its name to OPmobility in March 2024. OPmobility was founded in 1946 and is headquartered in Levallois-Perret, France. OPmobility is a subsidiary of Burelle SA.

Driven by innovation since its creation in 1946, the Group is today composed of five complementary business groups that enable it to offer its customers a wide range of solutions: intelligent exterior systems, complex modules, lighting systems, energy storage systems and battery and hydrogen electrification solutions. OPmobility also offers its customers an activity dedicated to the development of software, OPn'Soft.

📣 The C-Power team of OPmobility welcomed Laurent Bili, the French Ambassador to the US, and Yannick Tagand, Consul General of France  in Chicago, to its Huron office yesterday. They were joined by Youssef Souiba, Executive VP and President of our C-Power Business Group.

During their visit, Ambassador Laurent Bili personally came with the 2024 Franco-American Economic Report. This publication highlights the economic relations between France and the United States, offering a detailed state-by-state analysis. We are thrilled to be featured in the “Success Story” section for #Michigan, showcasing OPmobility’s achievements.

🚆𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗹!

OPmobility has secured a contract with Stadler, one of the largest rail vehicle manufacturers in the world, to equip hydrogen-powered regional trains in Italy!

We will deliver high-pressure #hydrogen storage systems and powerful 150-kW fuel cell systems, ensuring efficient and clean energy. Starting with 15 trains, our deliveries are set until late 2025.

Hydrogen trains, with their high range and quick refueling, are a game-changer for decarbonizing rail mobility. They can operate on all types of electrified or nonelectrified routes without major infrastructure investment and represent a major opportunity for growth at a time when a large part of global rail networks remain non-electrified - around 28% in China, 40% in Europe and 95% in the United States.

With a presence across the entire value chain and industrial capacity in Europe, North America and Asia, OPmobility is positioned as a major player in the hydrogen sector. The Group’s 2030 market share targets are 25% for hydrogen storage, 10% for EKPO Fuel Cell Technologies GmbH fuel cell stacks, and 10% for fuel cell systems.

We began by revealing the transformation of the company into OPmobility which, rooted in its rich past, looks to the future. Then came the integration of this new name into the Euronext CAC SBT 1.5 index, transitioning to #OPM, 60 years after our official public listing. 
 
The opening of our first plant in #Texas and our first quarter results confirm our direction and vision to drive a #NewGeneration of #Mobility.

The 24h of Le Mans concluded this weekend, shining a spotlight on hydrogen!

This year, the Hydrogen Village made its debut at the 92nd edition, showcasing pioneering projects like #MissionH24, of which OPmobility is a key participant. Since 2020, OPmobility has been the exclusive supplier of hydrogen storage systems for race cars, contributing to the development and testing of emission-free technologies in this innovative hydrogen category. 

The world of motorsport has always driven technological advancements, unveiling innovations like the #H24EVO from the #MissionH24 project lineup. These prototypes, including predecessors #LMPH2G and #H24, serve as pivotal testbeds for #hydrogen technology, showcasing its potential for emission-free racing. These cars designed by engineers racing on circuits propel research into the #hydrogen vehicles of tomorrow. It's the fusion of mechanics and cutting-edge technology that makes these prototypes exceptional.  

The #24LeMans has been around for 100 years, and it's a significant step forward to showcase new hydrogen-related technologies.
