So much for the "dreaded seventh year"! At this year's #CDX24 (Culture Development Experience) even a record was set: About 600 representatives from over 220 corporations, medium-sized companies, NGOs, and educational institutions from the DACH region signed up, making it the largest turnout ever!

Once again, participants brought exciting sessions and learned from each other. A small selection of topics:

The #CDX24 is also an event that our board members don't want to miss. Alexander Birken, CEO, and CFO Petra Scharner-Wolff, took part and engaged in a keynote interview with Bianca Lammers, Division Manager of Kulturwandel 4.0 Team. Petra and Alexander shared their own personal perspectives and analyzed the role of top management in the cultural change process.

Under the slogan "Love it, wear it, recycle it," OTTO is launching the third fully circular #fashion #collection for women under the brand "OTTO Products."

With basics, modern cuts, and trendy designs in classic and summery colors, the items can be combined in versatile ways. The collection also includes current trends such as polo shirts, slip dresses, and chunky knit vests.

💡 What is special about the collection?
The garments of the Circular Collection are equipped with either a QR code on the care label or an integrated NFC tag. Both can be scanned with a smartphone and lead to web pages with care instructions or detailed descriptions of the material components, as well as instructions for returning them to the circular economy. This allows the circular product to be further processed, for example, to create a new garment.

Apple has introduced its own AI solution: "#Apple Intelligence" aims to make the smartphone a personal intelligent assistant and bring generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) into the daily lives of many people. According to Johanna Hinz, Head of Tech Strategy at Otto Group, this will fundamentally change our everyday lives and many areas of our lives - with far-reaching consequences for #Ecommerce as well.

Since 2020, we have been working together with Save the Children Deutschland to strengthen the rights of children in our #supplychains. At the heart of this cooperation is the #WeCare program, which aims to make workplaces at our suppliers as family-friendly as possible. 🏭👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

The current sign campaign by ABOUT YOU is part of this tradition, as are our internal discussion events on the European elections, concrete initiatives such as the youth music initiative The Young ClassX, which brings together thousands of students from very different backgrounds, dialog formats such as the #ZukunftsWerte initiative, the participation of Prof. Dr. Michael Otto and CEO Alexander Birken in the demonstration against right-wing radicalism in Hamburg and our support for campaigns such as #NieWiederIstJetzt or #Zusammenland.

These are not the only signs we have set for a tolerant, open and inclusive society. And not the last.
