Engaging in a little friendly competition with our community partners, at our annual Race Against Hunger event in Dawson Creek. We had 12 teams race the aisles for a great cause, helping to #fighthunger in the community.

The teams collected 3,718 pounds of food, along with a donation match by Ovintiv of $23,000 that will go to the Network Ministries Dawson Creek, St. Marks Food Bank, and the Pouce Coupe Food Bank. Thank you to the Dawson Co-op Food Store for their generous food donation and hosting the event.

When partnerships thrive, communities transform. Ovintiv is a member of the Permian Strategic Partnership (PSP), a unique coalition between the Permian Basin public sector, and 31 leading energy companies operating in the region.

The partnership works towards improving the quality of life for communities in the Permian, such as supporting education programs, improving infrastructure, upgrading healthcare facilities, increasing affordable housing, and training the next generation of workers. To date, the PSP has invested over $153 million towards communities in the Permian.
