"We looked at the difference in curves of risk of severe PGD as a function of ischemic time," Dr. D'Alessandro shared. "At all time points, ice is at higher risk of PGD than this system. Now, at lower ischemic times of two hours, the risk of severe PGD with ice is pretty low...but it's even lower with this device."
