Excited to announce an oversubscribed $1.3M investment into our original $2M pre-seed, now valuing micro1 at $30M. 

We're building AI tools to source and vet top engineering talent around the world. We envision the future of software as human and AI intertwined in a beautiful manner. Thank you to Dream Ventures, Jason Calacanis, Joshua Browder, Cory Levy, and the 20+ others who believe in our mission and are helping accelerate it.

How did we get here?

I started my entrepreneurial journey at 12 years old, biking to garage sales and flipping textbooks.

By 14, I was thinking of ways to ‘scale’ my garage sale efforts. I created cashbooksnow, a textbook buyback service for college students. Using the Amazon API, we would give college students an instant quote on their textbook and buy it from them. I'd then take those textbooks and resell them on Amazon.

After not having much success with cashbooksnow, I began building peerlinc.com, an online tutoring marketplace. At peerlinc, we connected top undergraduate tutors with K-12 students for peer-to-peer tutoring. I got peerlinc to about a $100k/year run rate and had a small acquisition on acquire.com

At Berkeley, I started micro1. Soon after graduating Berkeley, we raised a $2M pre-seed led by @Jason and started scaling quickly. Three months later, right after closing our pre-seed, we turned profitable.

Though we had concluded our pre-seed, Dream Ventures offered to invest $1.3M at a $30M post-money valuation. Given my close relationship with Aryan at the fund, and the amazing growth value-adds Dream provided, I accepted the offer.

Now, micro1 is valued at $30M, less than 2 years after launch. It feels surreal. I'm honored and grateful.

Most importantly, I'm privileged to work with the smartest people I’ve ever met, every day – the micro1 team.

Thrilled to share that TechCrunch has featured CloudEagle’s 2023 SaaS Trends and Insights report!!

Our report found that companies plan to cut software spend up to 30% as they hit $3500 per employee. We launched our first “EagleEye half-yearly SaaS spend report” based on $400 million worth of SaaS transactions to help CFOs and CIOs compare and evaluate their own spending patterns with peers and make the right cost optimization decisions.
