You may have heard that we developed one of the latest products that joined the portfolio of MSD Salud Animal and we wanted to tell you more about it.

#PHAGEIN is a powder solution, based on selected bacteriophages, that improves intestinal health in calves by controlling the spread of pathogenic bacteria (E.coli and Salmonella spp) responsible for infectious diarrhea.
This great product also does not interfere with calves' normal gut microbiota!

In the UK, the Members of Parliament (MPs) are examining the use of phages to fight antimicrobial resistance, inquiring into the approach to regulations, research, and funding. All things that may be slowing the development of bacteriophage-based treatments to help prevent this menacing global health issue.
