This deficiency manifests in potato plants initially as yellowing in the intercostal areas near leaf margins, which spreads across the entire leaf over time. Eventually, necrotic patches develop, causing intercostal leaf scorch, with rolled-up margins and crumbling edges, typically affecting older leaves with green veins and extensive necrosis. Picketa Systems Introduces Custom Critical Levels

Critical levels are benchmarks used in agriculture to assess whether crops have adequate nutrient levels or if they are at risk of deficiencies or toxicity. Traditionally, these levels have been based on static charts that do not always account for the specific conditions of each field or the unique needs of different crop varieties. Many of these benchmarks were established through academic research conducted years ago, which might not fully align with the current demands of modern agriculture.

The Custom Critical Levels feature introduced by Picketa Systems addresses this issue by providing a more dynamic and adaptable approach. Agronomists can now adjust these benchmarks based on real-time data and the specific conditions of their fields, making nutrient management more responsive and precise.
