Life insurance rebounded. Cash dividend increased. Here are key highlights.
 
📈Robust performance of core businesses
- Operating profit attributed to shareholders of the parent company reached RMB117,989 million.
- Three core businesses – life & health, P&C and banking - generated RMB 140,913 million.
 
🚀Life & health delivered high-quality growth driven by continuous channel reform and expansion. 
- Life & health NBV grew 36.2% like for like. 
- NBV of the agent and bancassurance channels increased by 40.3% and 89.5%, respectively. 
 
💰12 consecutive years of cash dividend growth for shareholders
- Cash dividend payout ratio on attributable operating profit is 37.3%. 
- Full-year cash dividend of RMB 2.43 per share, up 0.4% YoY. 
 
🤝Continued development of integrated finance and strong customer base
- Retail customers increased to 232 million.
- 25.3% of them held four or more contracts within the Group, with a retention rate of 97.7%.
 
🌟Enhanced healthcare and elderly care service offerings
- Accumulated ~50,000 in-house and contracted external doctors in China. Partnered with all 3A hospitals and ~230,000 pharmacies.

🎓Inspiring our young scholars on a study trip to Singapore!
 
This month, our Ping An Inspiration Program winners were treated to a 5-day study trip to Singapore as an appreciation for their excellent research work on ways to improve the quality of life for their communities. They learnt from scholars in top universities, including the National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University Singapore. They also visited leading organizations in finance, eldercare and sustainability, including the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), KampungAdmiralty Community and NEWater.
 
Since 2003, Ping An has partnered with the China Youth Development Foundation to run the Ping An Inspiration Program, which encourages university students to research social problems and come up with creative and innovative solutions to alleviate them.
