Yesterday we organized another amazing Play Day at the Barco campus for around 150 underprivileged kids. Months of planning, fundraising and working together, resulted in a (Kung Fu) Panda style campus with jumping castles, folk games, Nintendo gaming booth, photobooth, tech activity, mocktail workshop, martial arts sessions, grime & tattoo, movie, goodie bags, dance and more… Decorations were off the charts – judge for yourself! This all wouldn’t have been possible without: 🐼 Our 55 (!) pandastic Barco volunteers and family members who spent their Saturday putting smiles on all these faces. Too many to tag, but you all know who you are! 🐼 Many more who beforehand helped with the craftworks and fundraising. Idem! 🐼 Organizations like Poppies Bakeries , Nintendo, Alpro , Kiwanis Roeselare, Kinepolis Kortrijk, Roelandt sign & print , Universal Pictures, FUN2JUMP , Globetrade … who supported our charity event in many different ways. (Also here, no exhaustive list!) And special shout out to our activity drivers, my partners in crime: Hanne Obbels , Elke Blondeel , Louis Vermoortel , David Brackman - MBA , Tom Rebry , Sharon Vandenberghe, Julie Daniel , Jana Vanderheijden , Maroi Ayadi , Thomas Serbruyns , Elisah Van Geluwe , Jan Daem , Lien Meuleman and our deco wizards Courtney Vanpraet & Nathalie Reynaert . Over the past few weeks, our blue collars received training on the Code of Conduct and the whistleblower procedure.
