Biomaterials Researcher associate - Israel site Precise-Bio is expanding and is looking for its site in Israel a talented hands-on Biomaterials engineer, in the field of biotechnology and 3D printing. In Precise-Bio we develop 3D-printed human tissues, using a unique laser-based bioprinter with advanced biocompatible materials and human cells. In recent years, Precise-Bio developed the world’s first functional engineered implantable cornea, aiming towards developing additional 3D-printed organs and tissues. The position will include dynamic activities including executing and analyzing experiments using advanced cell biology techniques alongside biochemical and tissue engineering. The successful candidate should be a team player, and possess scientific curiosity and ingenuity. Relevant Skills · Material Managing: stocks and purchase orders. Approval of raw materials and certification of controlled suppliers and service providers, ongoing control over them, handling deviations, corrective actions, complaints, and changes. · Supplier management: certification and maintenance of suppliers (agreements, questionnaires, audits, quality certificates). · Maintain equipment certification/ validation /Equipment Calibration Program · Preventive Maintenance Program. · Support of manufacturing activities in the manufacturing site: logistics and ongoing operation · The work is in company office in Modin and in sheba hospital. Rrequirements · At least 2 years of experience in the Bio tech industry- mandatory · High level of GMP knowledge - mandatory · B. Did you know that today, for every donated cornea there are 70 people in the world that will not receive it and eventually go blind. This is where “Precise Bio” comes in. An Israeli startup that fabricates human tissue in the field of ophthalmology. They print biological materials in very high viability. Working hand in hand with physicians from the early stages of development all the way to the clinical trials to provide a tissue that is easy to transplant and use by the physicians. Precise Bio is also the embodiment of #Bio_Convergence as it employs biologists with other disciplines including chemists, engineers, software developers and physicists, all working together to create the perfect tissue.
