Unfortunately, today, most patients are structurally shut out from the clinical trial system. They do not have access to academic research hospitals so they’re left struggling to navigate an opaque system filled with medical jargon and middle-men.

🚨 There's a common belief that patients are hesitant to share their medical information. But the reality? Many patients are willing to do so when there is trust, and they understand the research and potential benefits. 

🔍 Why this matters:
At the end of the day, patient referrals are not helpful if those patients are not eligible to participate. We check eligibility against IE criteria using a custom pre-screener and medical records, so that sites receive qualified patients.
