#MassBuys24 was an incredible event, bringing together more than 1,000 state and local buyers and the suppliers on statewide contracts that support them. 

Personally, it was massively gratifying to watch buyers go to the suppliers’ booths, scan the QR codes our team dropped off and write Procurated reviews of them on the spot. Those reviews will now be seen 👀 by contract managers in state procurement and will be a major component of their quarterly business reviews. Dozens of these feedback loops ↩️ were being constructed before our very eyes. 

MassBuys was also a great opportunity to talk with so many #suppliers about our products to help them become even more effective at serving their government customers ❤️ and growing their business 💸. 

And my personal highlight was sharing the stage with two brilliant 🧠procurement and tech leaders, Gary Lambert and Rejan Giguere to tell the story of procurement technology’s evolution from the last 10 years and to look ahead at the next 10. It’s hard to believe that just a few years ago, we all asked suppliers to send in multi-hundred page proposals 📂 and that the big “innovation” was allowing CD-ROMs! 💿. And now, the only questions about using AI in govt procurement are when, how and where, not if. 🤖

Thanks to the entire The Commonwealth of Massachusetts Operational Services Division (OSD) team for putting on such a great event, especially the indefatigable Danielle Frizzi, who made it look easy (though we all know it wasn’t 😀).
