A couple of surprising points stood out: 1. Washington State is the fastest growing state in the country for net tech positions, adding an impressive 20,000 net new jobs every year. 2. The tech sector contributes a staggering 22% to the state's overall economy, amounting to about $138 billion. It's clear that Washington is not just a tech hub, but a driving force in the industry.
