Can you actually fathom this? Our food systems are responsible for 30% of global greenhouse gas emissions. Astonishingly, the production of red meat and milk alone accounts for a staggering 57% of these emissions. It's big numbers; and a big threat. 🥩🥛

The 2023 Lancet report paints an alarming picture of the consequences: An 85% increase in heat-related deaths among the elderly since the 1990s, destabilizing droughts threatening the safety of our food supply, and a rise in infectious diseases is recorded. 🥵😷

Despite all this, let’s not despair! Let’s work on solutions. PROJECT EADEN aims to channel technological innovations to create a world where indulgence and responsibility harmoniously coexist. 😋🌍

From gelato artisan to key role in our lab, Nina's flair for food tech has enriched our quest for sustainable indulgence. Working half time at our Eaden Lab, she navigates the swift tides of startup culture with a deft touch, crafting vegetarian marvels that push the envelope.

Her edible paradox? The vibrant tang of pickled cucumbers in contrast to the sweet serenity of ripe blueberries; there is more surprises in our brief interview.

We transformed our lab at EADEN SPACE into a gourmet kitchen for a day. Our dedicated team and their +1s traded lab coats for dinner jackets in an event we dubbed 'Dinner in the Lab,' with the intent to blur the lines between science and gastronomy.

The culinary mastermind of the evening: Dennis Puchert. He masterfully utilized our cutting-edge fiber food technology to craft a six-course menu that truly pushed the culinary boundaries. Imagine this: fish, chicken, ham, and steak, all plant-based and tantalizingly tasty. 

Our lab kitchen, usually a hub of innovation, morphed into a dining sanctuary, reflecting our event's theme. The atmosphere and decor rewarded the leaps and bounds we've made in recent months. Kudos to Cookies World's event team for their precious support, and to Yuto Yamada for immortalizing the night through his lens. 

The feedback we received? Invaluable. The anticipation for our next steps? Tangible. We're brimming with excitement to finalize the first versions of our products. Because we know the world is ready for sustainable and healthful food options that don't compromise on taste. 

So, here's to progress, to innovation, and to the future of food. Still, quite some steps have to be taken. But we are getting ever closer. So stay tuned for a taste of the future.

The summer of 2023 etched itself into history as the warmest ever recorded. August and July were the hottest months of all, ever. On a per-month-basis breaching the central 1.5 °C pledge of the Paris international climate change agreement adopted by 196 countries, just 8 years ago.

This a stark reminder, urging humanity to reconcile with our planet. But how to rebound from this point?

We’ll all need to unite on addressing this. The angle we seek to contribute from: A staggering 6% of all global greenhouse gases is emitted from cows. It is here that we at PROJECT EADEN step in, fervently crafting a novel food technology to transcend the notion of compromise. We envision a new culinary chapter that not only indulges the senses but also fosters a sustaining, respectful co-existence alongside the natural foundations of human life.
