Q2 2024 SHOPHOUSE REPORT: "...Sales momentum in the shophouse sector remained tepid during Q2 despite resilient interest from investors. Stringent due diligence checks after the anti-money laundering blitz in August continued to weigh on shophouse sales activity. Based on caveats lodged, there were 16 shophouse transactions recorded in Q2 2024, declining by 30% QOQ from the 23 deals in Q1 2024..."
