Pymwymic is the “Put Your Money Where Your Meaning Is Community”, a co-owned organisation of European wealth holders who, since 1994, take a frontrunner role in the transition towards investing with care for people and planet. A community of over 150 individuals, families, entrepreneurs and angel investors of different backgrounds, ages and nationalities. 

Pymwymic’s Healthy Ecosystems Impact Fund I was launched in 2017 by the Pymwymic Cooperative, joined by Van Lanschot Kempen. With nine portfolio companies building solutions to preserve and restore our ecosystems, this fund was closed beginning of 2021. We now currently invest through the Healthy Food Systems Impact Fund II, supporting the change making entrepreneurs who are transforming our food system from farm to fork. By combining our knowledge, passion and money, we bring credibility to the impact investing industry and continuously push for higher standards until investing with care for people and planet is commonplace.

Last week we had the privilege of organising a private viewing for our members of the Food For Thought exhibit at Het Scheepvaartmuseum, led by the creator themselves - photographer and filmmaker Kadir Van Lohuizen. In this exhibition (running until Jan 2025), Van Lohuizen explores the origins of our food and the end to end production process. We highly recommend a visit, alongside watching the new documentary series 'Food for Thought' on NPO 2 🍏

We are thrilled to announce our latest investment in Weenat, a French-based company with a leading position in soil water content monitoring across Europe. Joining forces again with European Circular Bioeconomy Fund (ECBF), and with participation from LIBERSET and IDIA Capital Investissement, the €8.5m Series C will empower Weenat to continue innovating and supporting the agricultural community in combating water scarcity and climate change. We're proud to have Weenat become the 6th addition to our Healthy Food Systems Impact Fund II.

3️⃣ Get creative with leftovers: Instead of tossing out leftovers, get creative in the kitchen and turn them into delicious meals or snacks
4️⃣ Compost: If you can't use food scraps, consider composting them to reduce methane emissions and enrich the soil🌍💚
