Qalaa continued to build on its strong start to the year, delivering in 2Q24 a revenue expansion of 64% y-o-y to EGP 38.2 billion following broad-based growth across the Group’s subsidiaries. Similarly, EBITDA expanded to EGP 5.6 billion during the quarter, and EBITDA excluding ERC grew 195% y-o-y.

خلال المنتدى الحضري العالمي الثاني عشر (WUF12) World Urban Forum 12 Egypt ، شارك الدكتور هشام شريف Hisham Sherif, PHD رئيس مجلس الإدارة والرئيس التنفيذي لشركة ENTAG & ECARU Group (TAWAZON) التابعة للقلعة، في جلسة نقاشية بعنوان "إعادة النظر في الادارة الكاملة للمخلفات في مصر - ابتكارات من أجل اقتصاد دائري" برئاسة معالي الوزيرة الدكتورة ياسمين فؤاد وزيرة البيئة و ادارة الدكتور حازم الزنان مدير البرنامج القومي لإدارة المخلفات الصلبة (NSWMP) بمشاركة الدكتورة منال عوض، وزيرة التنمية المحلية، وتوبياس جيرلاش، منسق المجموعة بالوكالة الألمانية للتعاون الدولي GIZ Egypt. تحدث د. هشام شريف عن دور المجموعة في توفير الوقود الصلب البديل النظيف مثل الوقود المشتق من الكتلة الحيوية (BDF) و وقود الاستخلاص الصلب (SRF) كمصدر للطاقة الحرارية للقطاع الصناعي في إطار الجهود المترابطة لتقليل إجمالي الغازات الدفيئة الصناعية في مصر (GHG) وكذلك خفض البصمة الكربونية. وتحدث أيضًا عن العمليات الواسعة التي تقوم بها المجموعة لجلب خبراتها إلى دول منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا.
