Two weeks ago, Quadria organised a series of meetings between key stakeholders from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia and leading hospital groups in India. A 14-member Indonesian delegation, led by Honourable Deputy Minister Arianti Anya, met up with promoters, executive management, and clinical leadership of Narayana Health, HealthCare Global, AIG Hospitals, and NephroPlus. The discussions centered around fostering cooperation in the training and development of clinical talent in Indonesia.
 
We extend our gratitude to the Government of Indonesia as well as our hospital partners in India - Narayana Health’s Dr. Devi Shetty and Viren Shetty, HCG’s Dr. B S Ajaikumar, AIG’s Dr. D Nageshwar Reddy, Mr. PVS Raju and Dr GV Rao, and NephroPlus’ Vikram Vuppala and Kamal Shah - for their gracious participation and support. I recently had the opportunity to sit down with the IFC Health team to share some of the work we do at Quadria Capital. In particular, we discussed Quadria’s unique approach to driving impact through its investments and how this approach supports better health outcomes.

We’re pleased to announce that @Ivey Publishing has come out with a new case study on Quadria’s investment in AIG Hospitals, illustrating our twin focus on delivering financial returns and lasting social impact.
 
The case study (“Doing well by doing good”) outlines the key challenges and opportunities Quadria faced in 2015 when considering an investment in AIG Hospitals, a gastric science focused hospital in Hyderabad. It’s an honour that Ivey has selected this investment as an example to spur debate among students and facilitate classroom discussions.
 
We’re proud to play a small role in educating the next generation of leaders to consider how healthcare investments can be pursued in ways that accrue value not only to investors but to patients, medical practitioners, and the wider communities they serve.
 
The case study is now accessible to @Ivey Publishing’s network of distributors, which collectively have a reach of more than 25,000 faculty and staff in 168 countries.

We are pleased to announce the release of our Impact Report for 2023, which highlights the progress we have made over the last year on our ESG and impact-related initiatives within Quadria and our portfolio companies. This report reflects our commitment to create meaningful social impact and underscores our belief that the goals of “doing good” and “doing well” are not just compatible but in fact mutually reinforcing. We are proud of the strides we have made in expanding access and awareness of quality and affordable healthcare services in Asia, and seeing the positive change we are able to support has only inspired us to double down on our efforts. We extend our gratitude to our partners, investors, and the communities we serve for supporting us in our mission to transform healthcare in Asia.

Here are some key highlights from last year: 
- Treated over 9.4 million patients and conducted 1.8 million health checks and lab tests through our portfolio companies
- Over 18,500 generic drugs supplied by our pharmaceutical companies supporting affordable access
- Contributed to improving the standard of care through 95+ state of the art medical facilities
- 70% presence of healthcare facilities in tier II and tier III markets
- Over 50% patients covered through government schemes

It was a pleasure to host the Quadria Vietnam Healthcare Forum last week in Ho Chi Minh City. Themed 'Transforming Healthcare: Mapping the Future of Vietnam's Private Healthcare', the event brought together over 80 leading healthcare entrepreneurs, doctors, and executives.
