This past weekend, 18 amazing QuantCo Scholars attended the German American Conference at the Harvard Kennedy School. It was a great opportunity to discuss many of the big questions concerning the future of the transatlantic relationship. Among the highlights for our travel scholars were private meetings with Claudia Plattner, Tobias Cremer, and Danyal Bayaz, who answered the most challenging questions with passion and patience. Our fantastic tour guides showed us their secret places at Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology , and math professor Jörn Dunkel joined us for a fun dinner. Thank you to our travel scholars and everyone involved for making this an unforgettable few days in #Boston !

HPI Visits QuantCo in London In October, students from the Hasso Plattner Institute visited QuantCo in London, as part of their Startup Tour. They met with our teams of data scientists, software developers, and AI experts to learn more about our approach to building innovative and impactful machine learning products. We enjoyed discussing our work on algorithmic pricing, cancer diagnostics, and fraud detection with a highly engaged and inquisitive group of students!

This week, our teams of data scientists, deep learners, and software developers will be visiting the University of Oxford , the University of Cambridge , and Imperial College London to meet with students excited to apply the rigorous academic methods they have learned to real-world problems. At QuantCo, we are particularly fascinated by applying these methods to problems within algorithmic pricing, fraud detection, cancer diagnostics, and clinical health interventions. QuantConference We just organized our first QuantConference for everyone at QuantCo . La Isla Bonita! This year, QuantCo 's Getaway took place in Camp de Mar on the beautiful island of Mallorca. 200 team members and several guests from the US and Europe met for three intense days, meeting new people, having fun activities, and learning about the future of our company. As QuantCo grows, spending time together as a group is as important as ever. In good QuantCo tradition, we explored this beautiful island by boat, bike, and foot and ate some of the best seafood, tapas, and steaks. Muchas gracias, España!

The future can first be seen in San Francisco! QuantCo was excited to support this year's West Coast meeting of scholarship holders of Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes in the US.
