We are thrilled to announce that rapidapi.com now supports the regulatory framework rolled out by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for processing recurring transactions!

This is a huge win for the world's largest API marketplace, continuing to support our users worldwide. 

I am an API Provider, how does this impact me?

For API Providers, no changes are required! Your APIs are now available for consumers with cards issued in India. Expect more subscriptions as this will improve authorization rates for cards issued in India and regions utilizing 3D secure.

I am an API Consumer, how does this impact me?

For API Consumers with cards issued in India, for the RBI e mandate to be created, you will need to go through an Additional Factor Authentication (AFA) in the form of 3D Secure. This will be triggered automatically when you subscribe to an API on rapidapi.com.
